Download the StudioBooking app and search for Yoga Emporium. Create an account or sign in. From the app you can book a class, cancel a booked class and purchase class passes.

Classes need to be prepaid. You can pay via credit card, both via the app and website. If you prefer to pay via cash or card in the studio and have no credit left in your account, you won’t be able to book yourself into a class. Text or email the studio directly, we will reserve a spot for you and you can pay when you arrive.

When a class is full you will be offered a spot on the waiting list. To do this, the system will require you to have a credit in your account (or to purchase a pass). If a spot becomes available the first person on the waiting list is automatically added to the class.The system will send you an email to let you know the good news. If you don’t get a spot the credit is automatically refunded to your account. You are able to remove yourself from a wait list at any time.

We provide mats and any other props used free of charge. All you need to bring is a towel and water bottle. Classes are practiced barefoot and the best clothing to wear is typical gym clothes that you feel comfortable in and movement won’t be restricted.

All cancellations need to be received by 6pm the night before your schedule class. Cancellations received after this are deemed as “late” and the full cost of the class is forfeited. Cancellations prior to 6pm are “early” and the amount will be refunded to your account. You can cancel via the app, website or by text/email to the studio.

Each posture is held for 2-3 minutes to work the deeper layers of connective tissue, ligaments and fascia. It is particularly useful for those with joint issues including arthritis. It is also a complimentary practice for active, strength work by providing the lengthening, flexibility aspect.

The Yang beginning 30 minutes is Hot Flow, a strong, dynamic practice focussing on strength building and the last 30 minutes is Yin.

Heated using Far Infra-Red (FIR) and are a dynamic sequence of flowing postures. The class focusses on building strength, stamina, balance and coordination.

A little slower than the heated classes and includes a range of postures including standing, seated, twists and backbends. There is a strong focus on breathing and alignment. We flow slowly from one posture to the next, staying in each posture long enough to adjust and take a few deep breaths.

Targeting the layers of connective tissue and fascia that surrounds the entire body. Fascia is responsible for smooth movements and when there is trauma, injury, tightness or scaring movements there and elsewhere will be impacted. We apply pressure using balls in order to release these layers.

The most gentle class with floor bound postures focussing on the hips, low back, passive twists and supported backbends. Breathing techniques and meditation are woven throughout the class. This class is suitable during pregnancy, most injuries, insomnia and stress.
