Heated with FIR to 28-30 degrees.
Suitable for both beginners and those with an existing practice.

Yin targets the fascial and connective tissues to create space around the joints. To access these deeper layers, postures are held a little longer than in a Hot Flow class.

Yin works wonders for athletes who have lost range of motion as well as for those with joint conditions including arthritis. It is the perfect compliment to a dynamic and powerful Hot Flow practice.

Unheated. Maintained at 22 degrees.

This class lends itself to beginners given the slower pace and focus on technical alignment. For those with an existing practice, it will help to deepen your understanding of postures and how to integrate the breath which may become lost in a more dynamic practice.

This class incorporates postures from all movement groups including standing, seated, twists, forward bends and backbends. It also weaves in different breathing techniques.

Maintained at a comfortable 25 degrees. In winter this will be heated using FIR, during summer cooled.

This class is our most gentle class. It works wonders for those who are working with injuries, stress, anxiety and insomnia. It is suitable during pregnancy. It is also a perfect compliment to a hot, dynamic practice.

Restore is a very comfortable class with mostly floor bound postures focussing on the hips and low back. Each class is different but typically will only feature 5 or 6 postures which we settle into for 4-5 minutes. Breathing and meditation techniques are weaved throughout.

Powerful. Progressive. Profound.
This is the class people talk about.

When was the last time you sat with discomfort? Sat still and watched it, felt it, didn’t move away from it? This practice is designed to drop you right into the heart of discomfort. What comes up for people is profoundly insightful.

This is a very different way to practice yoga and a very powerful way to practice life. Just sitting with what comes up. Don’t shift away and absolutely don’t move.  Over two hours you’ll work through many layers of discomfort, both physical and mental. Each posture invites you to find your edge and stay there. For three minutes.

The deepest layer will change your definition of discomfort. Your breath will deliver you to a place where the line between comfort and discomfort becomes blurry. As you work towards the final, very deep release you’ll observe your own personal responses to this process and be profoundly amazed at the place you arrive.

What you need to know:

  • Slow Releases are suitable for everybody. The postures are not difficult, but the way they are practiced is.
  • All injuries can be accommodated for.
  • The temperature of this class is ambient, warmed mildly in winter and cooled slightly in summer.
  • This 2 hour specialty class is $45 and must be pre-paid to secure your spot.
  • If you can’t attend, 24 hours notice required to transfer pass to another date.

What people say:

“I walked out of this class feeling more open in my hips than EVER before. Utterly amazing!” (Toni, 2014)

“I went through the full spectrum of emotions in this class. Hating it at the start to resigning myself to getting through it to then breaking through to the deepest state of stillness and peace. Every bit of tension melted away by the end of the two hours. The physical and emotional change I experienced was unbelievable.” (Robin, 2014)

“I can’t believe that happened in two hours. Trying to find a word for this…I felt drunk, is yoga stoned a thing!?” (Ethan, 2017)
